Victor Garcia, Jr., 82, died Wednesday, June 20, 2018 in Groves. A native and lifelong resident of Port Arthur and a 1955 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, Mr. Garcia graduated from the Air Force Academy in 1971 and retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service. Mr. Garcia was an Electrician at Texaco from 1977-1984 and an Operator at Chevron from 1984-1991.

Survivors include his son Victor Garcia, III of Beaumont and his step-sons George Seger of Groves and William Seger of Murfreesboro, TN; and former daughter in law, Michelle Garcia of Bridge City: his sister, Rose Marie (Daniel) Estrello of Port Arthur and his grandson Victor Garcia, IV.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Grammier – Oberle Funeral Home Chapel with the family receiving friends beginning at 10:00am. The interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
