Leeanna Ruth Robinson McGinnis, 64, of Houston, TX passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018 at West Houston Medical Center surrounded by her family.  She was a native of Port Arthur, TX and resided in Houston, TX for over 40 years.  She was a 1972 graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School and employed by American General Insurance Company.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Virgie Robinson; a sister, Mary K. Aikels; brothers-in-law, Bernie Aikels and Robert McGinnis; a sister-in-law, Barbara McGinnis.

Leanna is survived by her husband, Jimmie McGinnis, Sr.; one son, Jimmie McGinnis, Jr.; sisters, Janet G. Scott (Jimmy Sr.), Pamela J. Willis (John) and Vanessa M. Martin (David); a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Gabriel Funeral Home Chapel with visitation from 9 a.m. until service time.  Minister Wanda Bodden will officiate.
