Russell Craig May

Russell Craig May died on June 25, 2018 in Florida. He was born on July 6, 1954 in Port Arthur. Russell lived an adventurous life and loved the outdoors. He spent a lot of his adult life in Colorado and Florida. While living in Texas Russell fathered his two children, Jeremy and Suzanne May. Later in Colorado, he met his future wife Luann and her two daughters Heather and Anna Degele and step-grandchildren Navy Ray Knapp and Domnic Hoffman who loved and comforted him for the last thirteen years until his death. Russell was given nicknames of “Crazy Russ” and “The Best Buckin Papa” by those who loved him.

Russell is preceded in death by his parents, John Carl May and Betty Lou May. He is survived by his two children, Jeremy Russell May and Suzanne May,  his wife Luann, his two step-daughters Heather and Anna, his five siblings and their spouses, Curtis and Lynn May, Keith and Marianne May, Kent and Laura May, Jennifer Nugent, and Kevin May, his five grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
