East Chambers graduate and Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Vance McDonald was carted off the practice field Sunday with a foot injury, according to multiple reports.

The Steelers on Twitter reported that McDonald, along with wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, outside linebacker T.J. Watt and safety Sean Davis left practice Sunday with injuries, but details on the severity of each injury are unknown. Watt’s brother J.J. is a defensive lineman for the Houston Texans.

McDonald, who was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in 2013, was expected to produce for the Steelers this season after catching 10 passes for 112 yards in an AFC divisional round loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. He sustained an ankle injury last December and finished the season with 14 catches for 188 yards in 10 games.
