Services for Carolyn McKee Long will be held at  10:00 a.m., Monday, January 21, 2019 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville with Reverend Kevin Simmons.  Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

The family requests that visitation  be  observed Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Hixson Brothers, Pineville from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and will continue on  Monday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.

Mrs. Long, 76, of Alexandria passed from this life, Thursday, January 17, 2019  at Rapides Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Long was a devoted Christian who married in 1960 and had two children. 

She was a loving caring mother, grandmother and friend.  Loved to travel and always had her bags packed.

During her working career she worked for Ford Motor Credit for 30 years after retirement she did title work at Hixson Autoplex for 6 years

She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Sandy Drake, parents, Eugene E. and Pauline McEachern Mckee.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Gina Kendrew, Tammy Carmouche and husband, Skoot, brother, Paul McKee and wife, Hertha, grandchildren, Jeremy Kendrew and wife, Trista, Jordan Kendrew and wife, Kayla, Ethan Kendrew and wife, Gabrielle, Bridgett Baker and husband, Wayne, B. J. Carmouche and wife, Erika and Shane Carmouche; thirteen great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Kendrew, B. J. Carmouche, Jordan Kendrew, Shane Carmouche, Ethan Kendrew and Cade Kendrew.
