Scott “Scotty” Anthony Stein, 55, of Groves, died Thursday, January 17, 2019, in Galveston.

Scotty was a native of Port Arthur, and a longtime resident of Groves. He was a, Christian, a Protestant by faith. He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilfred and Emma Stein; his brothers, Lucien Gregory Stein, Wilfred Stein, Jr., and Timothy Dale Stein. He is survived by a brother Kenny and his wife, Beth, Stein of Groves: and two sisters in law Janet Stein of Groves and Susan Stein of Nederland.

Funeral services are schedules for 1:00pm on Monday, January 21, 2019 in the Chapel of Grammier Oberle Funeral Home. The family with receive friends from 4:00 – 6:00pm on Sunday. The interment will be at Memory Gardens in Nederland.
