Carolyn Allen Pickney, 61, was called home on Monday, January 21, 2019.  She was born on August 15, 1957 to Abraham and Bertha Allen of Port Arthur, TX.  She was a native of Port Arthur, TX.  Through the years she worked and retired from Baptist Hospital and Christus St. Mary Hospital.

Preceded in death by her: parents, Abraham and Bertha Allen; brother, Abraham Allen, Jr. and sister, Mary Ann Thomas.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years Bobby Pickney Sr.; daughters, Michelle Pickney of Atlanta, GA; Angela Nellison (Michael) of Port Arthur, TX; son, Bobby Pickney, Jr. (Lakeisha) of Orlando, FL;  sisters, Elvira White (Robert) of Tuscaloosa, AL and Lorena Green of Dallas, TX;  brother; Harold Allen (Martha) of Dallas, TX; grandchildren Peyton Pickney, Rhylee Nellison, Zoey Pickney, Zane Pickney, Reagan Williams and Jaden Williams; special friends, Beverly Pickney, Alice Marthieo, Lillian Parker and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 9 a.m. Saturday, January 26, 2019 at St. James Catholic Church, 3617 Gulfway Drive, Port Arthur, TX with visitation from 8 a.m. until service time.  Entombment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
