Anna Bell Critian was born August 15, 1928 and departed this life on January 26, 2019. She was a native of Washington, LA and moved to Port Arthur, TX in 1951.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband Willie Critain, Sr., her parents, Samuel and Julia King; four brothers, Dalton, Raymond, Richard and Willie King; one half-sister Lela Mae Valentine and one daughter-in-law, Stella Critain.
Left to cherish her memories are her children, Rose Sweet, Willie Critain, Jr. and Deborah Critain all of Port Arthur, TX; three grandchildren, Brian Priutt of Port Arthur, TX, Julian Pitre of Houston, TX and Derrick Critain of Beaumont, TX; two step grandchildren, Kathy Brown (Juan) of Orlando, FL and Ronald Henderson II (Marty) of San Antonio, TX; 14 great-grandchildren; six sisters, Verna Antoine of Port Arthur, TX, Ruby Robinson (CW) of Houston, TX, Joyce Thomas of Lake Charles, LA, Mary Alexander (George) of Orange, TX, Florita Wolf (Elray) of Beaumont, TX and Patsy Self (Leon) of Baton Rouge, LA; three sisters-in-law, Viola Jones of Beaumont, TX, Gladys Chretien and Willa Mae Dugas of Port Arthur, TX; a longtime friend Olivia Ghee; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with visitation from 8 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
