Marie King Lee was called to rest in peace from her earthly labor on Tuesday, January 29, 2019.  She was born December 11, 1930 in Ridge, LA to the late Cecilia Sinegal King and Manuel King, Sr.  Marie previously lived in Oakland, CA and retired as a nurse with 41 years of service before returning to Port Arthur, TX in 2001.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Pryor Lee; her parents, sisters, Evelyn Paige, Thelma Morgan, Mable Alexander; brother Manuel King, Jr. and granddaughter, Plechett Bernard.

She leaves to cherish the memories of her life her devoted daughters, Jennifer Robertson (Alvin) and Raynetta Waller; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with visitation from 9 a.m. until service time.  Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery.
