JUCO BASKETBALL: Lamar State-CBC rescheduled for Feb. 20

Lamar State College Port Arthur’s postponed game at Coastal Bend College has been rescheduled for Feb. 20.
The game, originally scheduled for this past Saturday, was put on hold after Lamar State’s players were involved in a traffic accident near Wharton the day before. Some of the players were checked out overnight at a nearby hospital, but no injuries were discovered.
Because they were checked out overnight, Lamar State officials feared the players may not be ready in time to play.
The Seahawks play at Jacksonville College tonight, with tipoff at 7 p.m. CooperSports.net will webcast the game.
