Ruby J. Lynd, 95, of Port Neches, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at Pelican Bay Assisted Living in Beaumont. Ruby was born December 27, 1923 in Bartlesville, OK to the late Teddy and Agnes Morris. Ruby enjoyed gardening and fishing on the lake.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Alfred Lynd; granddaughter, Janell Pinner, brothers, Louis Morris Sr., Bill Morris, Edgar Morris, Vestal Morris, Namon Morris and sister, Birtie Morris. She is survived by her son, Jackie Pinner and his wife Marie of Port Neches and granddaughter, Brandi DeLao.

A gathering of friends and family will be from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., Friday, March 22, 2019, with a Celebration of Life service to begin at 12:00 p.m., at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. A private burial will take place following the service at Hillcrest Memorial Garden in Orange.
