A Dayton man was killed early Monday when the motorcycle on which he was traveling struck a concrete retaining wall, catapulting him across the highway.
Beaumont police said Stewart Dundee Henderson, 30, was eastbound and traveling at a high rate of speed when he hit the wall at Interstate 10 and Magnolia in Beaumont. Beaumont police were dispatched at 6:36 a.m.
The operator was thrown from the motorcycle into oncoming westbound traffic, where he was struck by several vehicles, police said. While on the scene, officers discovered the motorcycle was reported stolen from Houston.
