I would like to pass along some information from Heloise, who writes the newspaper column: Hints from Heloise. She said, and I paraphrase, it is against the law for people to sell puppies and kittens on the side of the road, from a car or by classified ads and on line.

And I take it to mean any animal, not just puppies and or kittens.

I see people selling animals in parking lots of businesses at times and now I know it is illegal.

Please think before you buy.
