Mr. Albert Scott, age 85, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2019. Mr. Scott was born on August 2, 1933 in St. Joseph, LA to the late Emma and George Scott. Mr. Scott also had a daughter, Urenda Scott, who also preceded him in death. Mr. Scott was a veteran of the U.S. Army; proudly serving during the Korean War.

Mr. Albert Scott leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 10 years, Lois Branch Scott of Port Arthur; a son Brandon Scott of Oakland, CA; two step sons Randy Thomas of Los Angeles, CA and Philip Parker (Debra) of San Antonio, TX; a step daughter Monica Cooper of Groves, TX; his two brothers Willie Scott of Los Angeles, CA and Roosevelt Scott of Port Arthur, TX; two granddaughters Rasheema Hardy and Faith Cooper; two grandsons Joshua Parker and Tyrell Jackson; three great grandchildren; one dear friend William Armstrong; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 22, 2019 at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 549 W. Gulfway Dr., Port Arthur, TX with visitation from 9 a.m. until service time. Entombment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Park.
