A home with 10 people inside, including numerous children, was the target of a drive-by shooting Sunday morning, authorities said.

Port Arthur Police Department Det. Mike Hebert said officers responded to the 3600 block of 7th Street at 6:58 a.m. Sunday.

Officers found a “high volume of rounds” were fired into the home, which included approximately 10 adults and children at the time of the shooting.

No injuries were reported.

The shooting is under investigation by the Criminal Investigations Division of the Port Arthur Police Department.
