Cynthia Eloise Henry was born December 2, 1961 in Pineville, LA to Robert Henry, Sr. and the late Gloria Glover.
She was raised in Port Arthur, TX but lived most of her adult life in Houston, TX.
Cynthia received Christ and was baptized at an early age.
She was a 1980 graduate of Lincoln High School during which time, she pursued her passion in cosmetology.
During her lifetime of careers, Cynthia mainly worked in technical support.
Prior to her illness, she was employed by Sun, Ski, and Sports in Houston, TX.
She loved taking on new projects.
Her favorite activities were reading, writing poetry, and learning to play the guitar.
Cynthia is preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Gloria (Leroy) Glover; grandparents, Rev. Anderson (Indiana) Gibson; aunt, Edna Gibson; uncles, Andrew and Bert Gibson.
She leaves to cherish her precious and loving memories, sons, Cranston Henry (Mercedez), Gregory Berry, Jr. (Christie) of Houston, TX; daughters, Teia Berry (Demetrick) of Natchitoches, LA, Nikki Berry of Houston, TX; father, Robert Henry, Sr.; sister, Gloria Bernard (Jimmy); brothers, Robert Henry, Jr. (Martini) all of Port Arthur, TX, Randall Glover (Tommie) of Houston, TX, Joseph Henry (Carmen) of Chicago, IL; grandchildren, Donavan Henry, DaKari Henry and Kyliee Berry all of Houston, TX; uncle, Herman Gibson; aunt, Louise Gipson of Port Arthur, TX; god-daughter, Angel Harris; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Christian Faith Baptist Church, 1919 Jefferson Drive, Port Arthur, TX.
The family will receive friends at 2:30 p.m.
Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery.
