Jefferson County indictments this week include numerous local residents

BEAUMONT — A Jefferson County grand jury indicted the following individuals earlier this week:
- Bryson Denard Boudoin Jr., 17, of Port Arthur was indicted for aggravated robbery for an incident that occurred Nov. 1.
- Derodziya Mitchell, also known as Derodziya D. Mitchell, Dontrell Mitchell, and De`Rodziya Mitchell, 30, of Port Arthur was indicted for aggravated robbery for an incident that occurred Jan. 19.
- Derodziya Mitchell, also known as Derodziya D. Mitchell, Dontrell Mitchell, and De`Rodziya Mitchell, 30, of Port Arthur was indicted for aggravated robbery for an incident that occurred Jan. 19.
- Robert Wayne Benoit Sr., 59, of Beaumont was indicted for sexual assault for an incident that occurred Dec. 29.
- Jaime Nicole Alfred, 26, of Port Arthur was indicted for aggravated robbery for an incident that occurred Jan. 18.
- Antonio Jones, 30, of Beaumont was indicted for burglary of a habitation for an incident that occurred Jan. 5.
- Armando Rangel, 21, of Beaumont was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, tetrahydrocannabinol, for an incident that occurred March 25.
- Brooke Michelle Wilson, 25, of Beaumont was indicted for delivery of a controlled substance, cocaine, for an incident that occurred Feb. 8, 2019.
- Victor H. Cantu Cantu, 34, of Beaumont was indicted for intoxication assault for an incident that occurred Oct. 27.

- Joey Guy Wilson, 38, of Port Arthur was indicted for unlawful possession of firearm by felon for an incident that occurred Sept. 3.
- Martinez Lamond Baltrip, 23, of Beaumont was indicted for delivery of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, for an incident that occurred May 15.
- Martinez Lamond Baltrip, 23, of Beaumont was indicted for delivery of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, for an incident that occurred April 3.
- Timothy Allen Savoy, also known as Tim Savoy and Timothy Savoy, 30, of Beaumont was indicted for assault on a peace officer for an incident that occurred Sept. 28.
- Edgar Adrian Briones, 24, transient, was indicted for evading arrest/detention use of a vehicle for an incident that occurred Jan. 9.
- Kevin William Pehm, 38, of Beaumont was indicted for felony theft with prior theft convictions for an incident that occurred Nov. 20.
- Deondre Marquezz Howard, 20, of Beaumont was indicted for fraudulent use of identifying information for an incident that occurred Feb. 7.

- Juan Melendez, also known as Juan Melendez Jr., 25, of Port Arthur was indicted for felony driving while intoxicated for an incident that occurred Dec. 25.
- Ebony Nicole Phillips, 33, of Beaumont was indicted for felony criminal mischief for an incident that occurred Nov. 22.
- Bobbie Rae Prudhomme, 43, of Beaumont was indicted for theft of service for an incident that occurred Nov. 27.
- Parish John Subject, 43, of Beaumont was indicted for unlawful possession of firearm by felon for an incident that occurred Jan. 13.
- Raymon Varela, 28, of Beaumont was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, in a drug free zone for an incident that occurred April 2.
- Eric Dewayne Bell, 40, of Beaumont was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, cocaine, for an incident that occurred Oct. 10.
- James Michael Frankland, 38, of Hamshire was indicted for evading arrest /detention use of a vehicle for an incident that occurred Jan. 4.
- Mitchell Darkins, also known as Mitchell Darkins III, 41, of Beaumont was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, for an incident that occurred Aug. 31.
- Erick Mata, 22, of Beaumont was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, for an incident that occurred Dec. 13, 2018.
- Blake James Wakefield, 30,of Port Neches was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, heroin, for an incident that occurred Aug. 4.
An indictment is not a final conviction of guilt; it is only a ruling by the grand jury that allows the district attorney’s office to proceed with a criminal case.
