Beneficiaries of Mullins’ lights-out putting was his team that included Don MacNeil, Gerald Huebel and Don Duplan. They scored a sweep, with minus-7 on the front and minus-5 on the back …
In the Monday Senior 50 Plus 2-ball at Zaharias, the team of Bob West, Rusty Hicks, Bob Luttrell and Paul Duplantis won the front with minus-3. On the back, there was a tie at minus-3 between the team of Earl Richard, Ron LaSalle, Dan Flood and Dwayne Benoit and the foursome of Cap Hollier, MacNeil, Larry Lee and Larry Foster …
The Friday 2-ball at Zaharias saw the team of LaSalle, John Jessen, Larry Reece and Bobby Kimball take the front with minus-2. That was also the winning score on the back for the team of Kenny Robbins, Danny Robbins, Tony Trevino and Pete Reobroi …
All points count was the format for the Wednesday Babe Zaharias DogFight. Placing first with 29 points was the team of LaSalle, Luttrell, Tom Lawton and Charlie Perez. Placing second with 26 points was the foursome of Thad Borne, Danny Robbins, Benoit and Duplantis.
Highlight of the day was 81-year-old John LeBlanc’s second eagle on a par 4 in a four-day span. LeBlanc drove No. 1 from the Super Senior tee, then rolled in a 25-foot putt for his 2.
Closest to the pin winners were Hicks (No. 2), Gary Hanan (No. 7, No. 15) and Flood (No. 12).
