H-E-B has issues a recall of ground beef products packaged Friday at the Mid-County store located at 4800 F.M. 365.

Notice of the recall was e-mailed late Friday afternoon. It said the company is “recalling ground beef sold on Friday, June 12, 2015 ONLY at the H-E-B store in Port Arthur located at 4800 Highway 365 due to the possible presence of foreign material. No reports of incident or illness have been reported.”

All Ground Chuck VP and Ground Chuck small pack sold on Styrofoam trays with clear plastic wrap, packed on Friday, June 12, 2015 with a time stamp of 6:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Customers who purchased the affected product can return the product to the store for a full refund. Customers with any questions or concerns can contact H-E-B Customer Service at 210-938-8357.

H-E-B’s statement said the company is committed to quality of its products and termed the recall precautionary.
