VIDOR –  A pickup Vidor police were looking for in connection with the double-murder of an elderly couple has been located.
According to a story published by Beaumont Channel 12, police have not indicated where the truck was discovered.
On June 11, Vidor police discovered the bodies os Richard Ames, 83, and Edna Phillips, 85; in side their home in the300 block of North Timberlane Street in Vidor’s Maplecrest Addition. That same day officers were seeking a gray 2006 Chevrolet 4-door pick up with a bed cover installed.
