Reward offered for info on ‘armed, dangerous’ fugitive

The Jefferson County Fugitive Warrant Division is requesting the community’s assistance in locating a dangerous fugitive.
Tyaus Roy Wells, 18, a black male about 5 foot 7 and 145 pounds, is wanted on a series of robberies that have occurred in the Avenues Area of Beaumont. The crimes have become more aggressive with the latest crime involving a firearm and beating requiring hospitalization of the victim with a broken jaw, broken eye socket and numerous lacerations which occurred in the 2100 Block of Victoria.
Wells should be considered armed and dangerous. No attempt should be made to detain or capture him. He has a violent criminal history. Anyone knowing his location is requested to contact Crime Stoppers at 833-TIPS (8477) or Jefferson County Fugitive Warrant Division at 835-8411.
Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 reward for information leading to the location and arrest of Tyaus Wells or any wanted felony fugitive.
