Donald Trump will bring his campaign for president to Beaumont on Saturday, where thousands are expected to attend a rally, according to information from the Trump campaign in a press release about a new national campaign spokeswoman.

Katrina Pierson will serve as the national Campaign Spokeswoman. She is a former Texas congressional candidate and she has served as a Steering Committee member for the Dallas Tea Party, she was the founder of the Garland Tea Party, a member of the Texas Tea Party Caucus Advisory Board, and owner of Pierson Consulting Group.

Pierson is currently based in Dallas, where Trump held a rally attended by more than 20,000 people in September. Mr. Trump will return to Texas on Saturday for a campaign rally in Beaumont, which is also expected to be a capacity crowd of thousands, the press release stated.

E-mail questions sent to the Trump campaign about the venue and the timetable for Saturday’s rally were not immediately answered. KBMT-TV reported Monday that the rally will be at Ford Park.
