These airmen had a reunion in Albertville, Ala., after 63 years, and the Port Arthur News was there. They first met in November 1952 at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio. M/Sgt. Buddy Moore, left, retired line chief from Boaz, Ala., served in numerous overseas assignments. S/Sgt. Manning Pierce, a radar operator from Millbrook, Ala., served in the Philippines. Airman 1st Class Bobby Green, a supply specialist from Albertville, Ala., served in Goose Bay, Labrador. Airman 1st Class Thurman Allred, a crew chief on a hydrogen plant, from Groves, served in Morroco and Germany.
