Cindy Marie Plessala Rodrigue, 58, passed away peacefully Friday, December 4, 2015 in McHenry, Illinois with her son and family by her side.

Cindy was born May 2, 1957 in Port Arthur, Texas, to Carroll Joseph Plessala (2/14/13 – 11/14/85) and Eve Marie Vaughn Plessala (2/20/19 – 3/3/99).
She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1975 and Lamar University in 1977 and married John Dale Rodrigue on 8/20/76.
She belonged to St. James Catholic Church in Port Arthur, TX (8/20/76 – 6/1/79) until relocated to Gretna, LA.  While living in Louisiana, she was an active choir member of Christ the King Church for 24 years (6/1/79 – 6/1/03) as she truly loved to sing and play guitar.  Upon relocating to Montgomery, Texas, she remained an active member of the church and church choir at St. Mary Catholic Church in Plantersville, TX.
In addition to music/ singing, Cindy was a homemaker with occasional part time work with hobbies she enjoyed. Her interests included family, gardening, dancing, sewing/quilting and reading. She devoted much of her time and energy to family with a devoted heart and everlasting love.
She is survived by her two sons, Jason Eric Rodrigue and Chad Joseph Rodrigue, along with four grandchildren, Isabelle, Olivia, Elijah and Elina.
