Kevin Del Harrison

Kevin Del Harrison, 52, of Port Neches, passed peacefully into Heaven, surrounded by his loving family on December 11, 2015. Kevin was born on March 11, 1963, to Mavis and Kenneth Harrison in Port Arthur, Texas and was a lifelong resident of Port Neches, Texas. Kevin was loved by his whole family very deeply and special friends. Kevin participated in Special Olympics for many years in his youth and won many gold, silver, and bronze medals. He also loved his Port Neches-Groves Indians.
He is survived by his sister, Phyllis Harrison Calhoun, and husband Robert Calhoun, Sr. of Port Neches, niece, Amanda Calhoun Griffin and husband Scott Griffin and great nephew Cyrus Griffin of Groves, nephew Robert Calhoun, Jr. and great nephew, Noah Calhoun. He is also survived by a very special uncle, Jimmy Dawkins, and many special cousins. He had two very special friends, who took care of him often and catered to his every need, Pastor, Dr. James F. Williams, Jr., and his wife Patricia “Tricia” Williams. He loved them all very much.
He is preceded in death by his parents Kenneth Sr. and Mavis Harrison, his brother, ~nneth “Bubba” Harrison Jr., and his grandmother “Baybell” Dawkins.
Visitation was held Monday, December 14, 2015 from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches. Funeral services followed at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
A special thanks to all at New Century hospice for the loving compassionate care given to Kevin during his illness, especially his nurse, Mona Lucas and caretaker Mindy.
