Mary Ellen Arrington departed this earthly life February 3, 2016 at Northeast Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, TX.  She was a native of Marksville, LA.  She was born to the late Joseph and Josephine Francisco.  She later moved to Port Arthur, TX, where she worked for Sabine Hotel after many years of service until she retired.
She was preceded in death by his parents, Corona Greenhouse Francisco, loving and devoted stepmother that raised her; her husband of 45 year Charlie Aaron Arrington; a daughter Joyce Parson; her brothers Bishop Joseph Francisco Charles and Edgar; her sisters Nellie Francisco and Helen Rodgers and her sisters-in-law Ruby Bell and Catherine Smith.
She leaves to mourn her a loving and devoted son J.B. Arrington (Vickie) of San Antonio; a daughter Charlie Ruth Milo-Green of Port Arthur; a special step daughter Johnnie Mae Green of Port Arthur; two sisters Josephine Francisco of New Orleans, LA and Margaret Alexander of Alexandria, LA; a brother Leo Paul Francisco of New Orleans; a special niece and nephew Monica Rodgers of Houston, TX and John Edgar of New Orleans, LA; a very special and loving goddaughter Jacqueline Thompson of Port Arthur, TX; ten grandchildren Sonya Milo-Foreman, James Milo, Jr. (Kenisha), Simone Milo, Jazzmyn Arrington, Jocelyn Andrews, Christopher Andrews (Victoria), Kevin Green (Karen), Angelique Soelv, Penny Ward, Thomas Stinson, Jelissa Scott and Jessica Scott; 17 great-grandkids; a very special son in Christ Anthony Crooks; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Sacred Heart-St. Mary Parish Church with a viewing from 8 a.m. until service time.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
