Robert Aaron Bellard, II was born July 14, 1979 in Port Arthur, Texas to Romona Bellard and Robert Aaron Bellard, I. He departed this life on February 1, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Shirley Sylvester, Joyce Bellard, Morris Chenier, Rubin Brown and God-father, Joseph Bolden, Jr.
Cherishing his memories are his parents, sister, Erika Bellard Hunt, sons, Tyvon, Robert III, and Aaron Bellard; niece, Breaynna Hunt; brother, Roderick; grandmother, Mary Brown; aunts, Ruenette Bolden, Edwina Sylvester, Deborah Bellard, Delia Johnson, Mary Poledore, Joann Brown; uncles, Donald Bellard, Sr. (Eva), Carl Bellard (Regina), Johnny Brown (Angela), Haybert White, Calvin Jerry White, Howard Gebert White, Willie White, Robert Charles White, McKinley Lotts (Teresa), and Arnold Bolden; God-sisters, Clover Bolden, Chloe Thomas (Kevin); along with a host of devoted relatives and friends.
“Aaron,” as he was affectionately known by family, accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age at Seventh Street Baptist Church. He was a 1997 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School and had a genuine passion for computers and technology. That passion burned within him and followed him to Wiley College in Marshall, Texas where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems. He obtained his Masters in Communication Systems from American Intercontinental University. Aaron was employed as an IT Specialist with First Genesis at Exxon Mobil Campus in Houston, Texas.
Of all his accomplishments, he regarded his greatest as being a father to his three sons. Fatherhood was a true delight to him and he was known throughout his family as “the father with the passion of a mother.”
The family will receive friends from 9 am until 11 am on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Gabriel Funeral Home with the service scheduled for 11 am with Pastor John C. Doyle, III officiating.
