RUSTON, La. — Lamar freshman Julia Voluntad (1-0) earned her first career victory in her first collegiate start as the Cardinals ran their school-record winning streak to nine games in a game that was called after 4½ innings because of the run rule, 15-0 over Grambling State.

Later Saturday, Liberty University rallied from a 4-1 deficit in the bottom of the seventh to end LU’s nine-game winning streak.
