Janet Champeaux, 62, of Nederland, Texas passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at her home.
She was born on December 6, 1953 to Ethel Norris Champeaux Felder and Allen George Champeaux in Port Arthur, Texas. Janet was raised in Port Arthur and moved to Pasadena with her husband to raise their family. She has been a resident of Nederland for the past 8 years. Janet worked as a custodian at Nederland High School with the Nederland Independent School District for the past 8 years.
She was preceded in death by her father, Allen G. Champeaux and her sister, Carol Louise Champeaux.
Janet is survived by her son, John Allen Grace of Houston, her mother, Ethel Felder of Groves, her sister, Pauline Johns of Pasadena, two grandchildren, John Allen Grace, Jr. and Joshua Grace as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service for Janet will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 9, 2016 in the Thompson Memorial Chapel at Clayton Thompson with burial to follow in Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM till service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
