Bertha Lee Francis was born the first child of John Francis and Mable Sinegal on February 18, 1946, in Burk, LA.  Her life was dedicated as a care giver.
She is preceded in death by both parents, siblings, Florence Sam, Horace and Elton Francis, Sr. and Isaiah Frank, Jr., and stepfather Isaiah Frank, Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving and devoted sisters, Dixie Lyons of Beaumont, Loretta (Robert) Chretien, Asalee Webb of Port Arthur and brother, Robert (Dorothy) Frank of Baytown, TX; special nephews, Fred (Christa) and Derrick (Tiwana) Wilson, Darrell (Regina) and Horace Francois, Eric (Tamara) Perry, Joe (Britany) Francis, and Robert I. Chretien; nieces, Trena and Kathleen Simien and Felicia McClain, and a host of relatives and friends too numerous to name.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 12, 2016 at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church with viewing from 8 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
