Eula M. Breaux

Eula M. Breaux, 87, of Port Arthur, TX passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2016. Eula was born in Kaplan, La., to Adoise Broussard and Adana Leger Broussard. She was very devoted to her family and was a wonderful cook. Eula enjoyed bowling, camping, crocheting. She also enjoyed her plants and flowers. Eula belonged to the Eagles Auxillary with the VFW and was actively involved with the church.
Eula was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 40 years, Harry Breaux and a son, Percy Meaux, Jr. and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children, Verna Gayle and husband Leo of Groves, Glenda Smith of Nederland and Myrna Cedars and husband Michael of Orange; sister, Velma Gaspard. Grandchildren include Melissa Taylor and husband Michael, Ryan Cedars, Julie Kinser and husband Jimmy, Kristie Gayle and Amy Brashers and husband Kevin. She also leaves behind 11 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews to cherish her memories.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the nursing staff at Magnolia Manor and Altus Hospice for their love and support for Eula.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, March 12, 2016 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m., at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 12, 2016, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Groves. Internment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
