Chang named SLC Golfer of the Month

BEAUMONT — Fresh off her victory in the HBU Husky Invitational, Lamar junior Wenny Chang was named the Southland Conference’s women’s golfer of the month for March on Wednesday.
Chang won two tournaments and finished sixth in another during the month, becoming the third Lamar golfer to win the monthly honor. Taylor Stockton was awarded for October and Olivia Le Roux had the honor in February.
Chang, a three-time winner this season, averaged 74.0 per round this month with a low of 69.
