Mary Eugenia Gresham Neeb

Mary (Eugenia) Gresham Neeb, 96, of Port Arthur, TX passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016, after a lengthy illness. Mary was born on June 30, 1919, in Reagan, TX to the late Kearby Gresham and Margie Faw Gresham. Mary was a lifelong resident of Port Arthur. Mary was married to the late Paul M. Neeb for 40 years. Mary was a homemaker who was devoted to her family. She was a long time member of St. Catherine’s Catholic Church.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 5 sisters, Frances Choate, Geraldine Cantu, Wilda Quine, Betty Sherwin, Janis Wilkerson; 3 brothers, Alton Gresham, Bill Gresham, Dennis Gresham and her son, Steven Neeb, Sr.

She is survived by her children; son, Paul Neeb, Jr. and wife Mary of Montgomery, TX; daughter-in-law, Sandra Neeb of Nederland, TX; son, David Neeb of Amarillo, TX; daughter, Mary Sturdevant and husband Joe of Erie, PA; son, Thomas and wife Amy of Carrollton, TX. Mary also leaves behind 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren along with numerous other family members to treasure her memories.

A Christian Vigil and Rosary will be recited Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at 6:00 p.m., with the family receiving friends and relatives from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 5, 2016, at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
