Mary Catherine Solis, 73, passed away on July 18, 2016 at her home in Longview, TX. She was born January 21, 1943 in Port Arthur, TX to the late Charles Nathan Baggese and Frances Graffagnino Baggese. She was a member of the Catholic church. She married her best friend, Bill, in 1967. She worked alongside him in a successful veterinary practice at Stadium Animal Clinic in Port Arthur, Texas. As the welcoming face at the front desk and business manager, she formed many friendships with the clientele of the practice. She was also active in the lives of her two daughters, Stacey and Angie, as well as within the lives of her parents and extended family. After a career of 38 years, she and her husband both retired to move closer to their grandchildren in Longview, Texas. Always quick with joke and a laugh, she thrived in large gatherings and loved a party. She made every holiday a bright and festive occasion creating many memories along the way for all of her loved ones. She devoted herself to enriching the life of her family and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Bill Solis of Longview; two daughters, Stacey Solis Holder and her husband, Doug and Angie Solis Krenek and her husband, Russell; four grandchildren, Natalie and Christina Holder and Brandon and Rebecca Krenek.
