PA woman, 19, dies after Baytown wreck

A 19-year-old Port Arthur woman has died due to injuries she suffered in a two-vehicle wreck over the weekend in Baytown.
Daisy Arreguin died at about 6 p.m. Monday at a Houston area hospital.
Baytown Police were called to the 6500 block of Interstate 10 at 3:47 a.m. Saturday in reference to the major accident involving two vehicles. When they arrived they found a Nissan Pathfinder that had rolled over in the eastbound lanes and three of the five occupants had been ejected. Officers also found a white Chevrolet Trailblazer that had come to rest in the field adjacent to the eastbound feeder road, according to information from the Baytown Police Department.
Baytown Police Department Accident Reconstruction officers were called to the scene and learned that the Trailblazer had rear-ended the Pathfinder, causing the driver of the Pathfinder to lose control and roll over several times. The Trailblazer, after striking the Pathfinder, cross over the grassy median and the feeder road before coming to rest in the field.
The ejected occupants of the Pathfinder, a 20-year-old female, 19-year-old female and a 19-year-old man, were flown to a Houston area hospital to be treated for their injuries.
The driver of the Pathfinder, a 44-year-old woman, and another passenger, a 47-year-old female, were transported to Houston San Jacinto Methodist Hospital for treatment.
Police are investigating to determine if alcohol was a factor in the accident.
