According to a press release from the sheriff’s office, on Wednesday at 7:20 p.m., Jefferson County Narcotics Officers served a narcotics search warrant at 316 S 4th. St. in Nederland that resulted in the drug arrests of six people.
Jefferson County SWAT conducted a takedown of two vehicles in the driveway as other team members entered into the residence.  SWAT members caught Dillon Champagne as he was allegedly trying to flush Meth down the toilet.
The following six people were arrested from the home:
Shawn Manning, 47, of Nederland was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
Dillon Champagne, 23, of Nederland was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence.
Cullen Cannon, 33, of Port Neches, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
Taylor Crochet, 23, of Port Neches was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
Melissa Byrom aka Mallett, 36, of Groves, was arrested for possession of marijuana
Kayla Viator, 32 of Nederland, was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia
Sheriff’s deputies praised neighbors who complained of alleged drug use at the residence.
