NEDERLAND — Nederland at Port Neches-Groves is officially a No. 1 vs. No. 2 volleyball battle today. But the Bulldogs had some business to take care of first.

Nederland rebounded from its first District 22-5A loss of the season and swept Port Arthur Memorial on Friday, 25-13, 25-10, 25-17. That put Nederland (15-9, 4-1 in 22-5A) in a second-place tie with Livingston (4-1 in 22-5A) following league-leading PNG’s three-set win at home over Livingston on Friday.

Nederland and PNG will square off at noon today at the Reservation.
