Former Cowboys playing golf in Beaumont on Oct. 14

Seven former Dallas Cowboys are hosting a celebrity golf tournament in Beaumont that will benefit relief from Tropical Storm Harvey on Oct. 14.

The inaugural event including Drew Pearson, Ed “Too Tall” Jones, Kevin Smith, Preston Pearson, Mel Renfro, Tony Casillas and Doug Donelly will be held at the Brentwood Country Club with tee-off at 8:30 a.m. The tournament is a four-man/ladies’ scramble with prizes of $350 for the winner, putters for second place and $25 gift card for third place.

The hole-in-one winner can win $25,000, with the closest-to-the-pin winner receiving two tickets to a Cowboys game.

The entry fee for the tournament is $360 per team. The closest-to-the-pin fee is $25.
