ORANGEFIELD – A powerful Diboll offensive arsenal was just too much for the Orangefield Bobcats as the Lumberjacks captured a 35-14 non-district victory Friday night.

The Lumberjacks (4-1) piled up 548 total yards behind huge efforts from sophomore tailback Hebert Gums and quarterback Nathan Garcia.

Gums rushed for 260 yards and three touchdowns on 29 carries. Gums was in for senior tailback Ty Hamilton, who was out with a bruised knee. Hamilton has 700 yards thus far on the season.
