The second week of bowling had all this past week’s leaders coming out of the Thursday night Energy Country Ford/AllState League.

Sami Jo Williams continues to dominate for the women early this season. Sami Jo fired games of 219, 202 and 276 for a nice 697 set.

Gloria Divello led all the Senior ladies this week as she tamed the lanes to the tune of 185, 200 and 197 for a 582 series.

Bill White led all bowlers this week as Bill hammered the lanes with games of 268, 243 and 263 for a 774 set.

Our Saturday morning youth group Stars of Tomorrow, saw Cain Shaw land on the devil’s number with games of 207, 228 and 231 for 666 series. Nice bowling Cain.

With the new season starting it’s time to start thinking about the yearly tournaments. The Open National Championships are in Syracuse, New York in 2018. I will find out where The Women Nationals are as well as the upcoming Texas state tournaments.

I want to wish good luck to the bowlers headed to San Antonio this upcoming weekend to bowl in the Texas Mixed State Tournament. Represent our area well.
