Mrs. Lucy Larry Boatman, 92, a native of Franklin, La departed this life on November 16, 2017. Lucy was a faithful member of New Light Baptist Church and a long-time resident of Port Arthur for over 50 years.

Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, November 25, 2017 at New Light Baptist Church from 9am to 11am.  Services will begin at 11am with the Reverend Louis Hatch, III officiating.  The burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery under the direction of Hannah Funeral Home, Inc.

Mrs. Boatman was preceded in death by her parents Edith Jenkins and Leon Larry; her husband of 42 years, Willis Boatman; brothers, Thornton Larry and Sanders Oliver, Jr; sisters, Lou Ethel Oliver and Gertrude Turner and her grandson Jamaal Edward.

Survivors include her daughters Irma Williams, Geraldine Frank, Ellen Clark (Clayton) and Glenda Fisher (Jessie) all of Port Arthur Texas; brother, Frank Tate of Lafayette, La; stepsister, Leona Mae Simon of Port Arthur; seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren; special friends Carrie & Colbe Hall; a very special niece, Carolyn Sinegal; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other relatives.
