A 75-year-old man who was robbed of a bag at a Port Arthur apartment complex believes the suspect may have followed him from his bank.

The incident happened some time after noon Friday.

The victim’s bag was stolen from him at Stonegate Manor apartment complex. The victim has just left Wells Fargo bank in Groves and told police he believes the suspect followed him, according to information from the city of Port Arthur.

The victim was injured but was treated at the scene and did not go to the hospital.
