The Rev. Kevin Badeaux, pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Port Arthur, receives a $100,000 check from Charles Trahan, Diocese of Beaumont director of the Knights of Columbus on Sunday morning at St. James Catholic Church in Port Arthur. The money will be used to make repairs to St. Joseph that resulted from Tropical Storm Harvey.
Badeaux said the church was thankful for the KCs’ generosity. The Rev. Michael Jamail, vicar general for the diocese, said the KCs show their continuous love of the church and its mission.
