Edward James Frank, Jr. of Port Arthur, TX died Monday, December 4, 2017 at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, TX. He was a resident of Port Arthur for 48 years. Edward was in the U.S. Army National Guard and was a former employee with Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department. He was a self-employed electrician and carpenter and a member of Lincoln High School Class of 1988.
Edward is preceded in death by his father Edward James Frank, Sr.; grandparents Elizabeth Bevel, Mr. & Mrs. Fred Stephenson; two aunts Irma Lewis, Vernell Stephenson; one uncle Larry Stephenson, Sr.
He is survived by his mother, Verletta Frank (Shelby) Beaumont, TX; daughters Dezarai Chambers (Nicholas) of Philadelphia, PA and Ayanna Frank of Atlanta, GA; two sons Edward Frank III and Wilbert Frank of Port Arthur, TX; two stepchildren Jesus Kennerson of Dallas, TX and Jameelah Hogan of Beaumont, TX; three sisters Dianna Snowden (Willie Jr.), Quentella Robinson (Russell) and Keisha Frank all of Port Arthur, TX; three uncles Glen Bevel (Priscilla), Nathaniel Stephenson (Laura), Port Arthur, TX, Joseph Thomas of Lake Charles, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 16, 2017 at St. Paul United Methodist Church with visitation from 9 a.m. until service time. Entombment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
