Thursday night’s Energy Country Ford/Allstate League led this week’s bowling action at The Max.

Bill White provided plenty of entertainment as he finished his night by hammering the pocket 12 straight times for his ninth career 300. Bill put games of 215 and 229 in front of that 300 to lead all bowlers this week with a nice 744 set. Bill edged out Derek Gund, who registered games of 257, 242 and 243 for a sweet 742 series. Sami Jo Williams rounded out the Thursday night action as she dealt the lanes misery with games of 230, 221 and 224 to lead all the women this week with an impressive 675 series.

Moving right along, Wednesday morning Queen Tumblers League provided this week’s top senior female bowler. Alice Barnes has found her way back into the paper as she fired games of 174, 181 and 214 for a 569 series.

Finally the Saturday morning youth league, Stars of Tomorrow, had Brandon Bertrand staying on top of his game. Brandon stunned the lanes with games of 225, 201 and 186 for a 612 series.

As we swing into the Christmas Holidays, several leagues will be taking a couple of weeks off. Also as we roll into the new year, it will be about time to start planning for all the upcoming tournaments. If you get dates of the tournaments, local, state and nationals, please advise this columnist and we will make sure to include them in this column. Also any top honor scores that occur outside of The Max let us know and we will include in this column.
