JANICE TODORA ON BOWLING: All leagues resume at Max

All bowling leagues at The Max got back into the swing this past week.
Some leagues took a couple of weeks off, some a week, and then some bowled right thru the holidays. Nevertheless bowlers shook off the rust and started punishing the racks. Let’s get started; I promise it won’t hurt and you may see your name in the column.
Wednesday morning’s Queen Tumblers saw Alice Barnes start the year off in her usual spot. Alice led all the senior women this week as she unleashed games of 149, 217 and 238 for a nice 604 series.
Saturday morning’s Stars of Tomorrow had Brandon Bertrand ripping the racks. Brandon strung together games of 227,221 and 181 for a sweet 629 set.
The rest of this week’s honor scores come from the Thursday night Energy Country Ford/Allstate League. Buddy Sepeda led the senior men this week as he spanked the lanes with games of 246, 259 and 187 for a 692 series. Sami Jo Williams led all lady bowlers this week as she torched her set of lanes with games of 246, 212 221 for a 679 set. Finally Rob Kistner left his lanes in shambles as he fired games of 232, 254 and 247 to lead all bowlers this week with a 733 series.
Bowlers I do know there will be a group of ladies headed to Baton Rouge in early February to bowl in the Ladies Louisiana State Bowling Tournament. Once again if we have any bowlers headed to bowl in any tournaments let us know and we will get it in the column.
