Lamar to delay start of classes Wednesday

Lamar University will delay the start of classes and other campus activities Wednesday because of expected dangerous road conditions.
Classes scheduled for Monday, Wednesday, Friday will begin with the 12:40 p.m. class, a University spokesman said. Classes scheduled for Monday and Wednesday will begin with the 1:50 p.m. class.
Staff workday will begin at noon.
Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to monitor lamar.edu and media outlets for changes as conditions develop and use judgement in travel.
