Mr. Karl Sam Byrd 68, a native of Port Arthur, TX departed this life Wednesday, March 28, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Edwena Byrd, Sr. and brother John.

He is survived by his wife Gwendolyn Byrd, daughter, Diasheena Martin (Dennis, Jr.), stepdaughters, Marcie (Vincent), and Mondai (Chan, Sr.), 5 grandkids, brothers, Charles Byrd and William “Bill” West, sisters, Nina Byrd and Marva Byrd-Hardin and a host of family and Friends.

Home going service Friday, April 6, 2018 10am at Hannah Funeral Home Chapel with a viewing beginning 8am. Interment Live Oak Memorial Park. Service entrusted to Hannah Funeral Home, Inc.
