Christine Elizabeth Umphrey, 97 years of age went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 30, 2018. She was born August 14, 1920 in Port Arthur, Texas to the late Eva and Lewis Andrews.

Christine was preceded in death by her husband, Bert Umphrey; sister, Emogen Bice; brother, Ed Andrews and her first grandson, Eric Carlsen.

Christine was a homemaker and a wonderful mother and role model. She is survived by her children, Marga Carlsen, Dane Umphrey and Marck Umphrey. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren; Christa Bessell, Darren, Chad, Dale Umphrey, Lee Brown, Marcus, Molly, Mary Umphrey and numerous great grandchildren to cherish her memories.
