Beaumont police Friday were seeking three suspects in connection with a robbery at a Dowlen Road business.
A reward of $10,000 was offered.
Police said three males entered the Express Mart at 4095 Dowlen Road at 6:30 a.m. Thursday, tied the clerk’s hands and forced her to the ground, then took cash from the register and broke into the ATM, fleeing with two drawers of money.
Video obtained from surrounding businesses showed three suspects walking up to the store from the north before the robbery and then running toward the parking lot after the robbery. A newer model maroon or dark-colored Dodge Charger with paper license plates was waiting on them and then fled north on Old Dowlen Road.
Suspects were only inside the store for about 2 1/2 minutes, police said, and appeared to know what they were doing. The clerk believed suspects had weapons but did not see one.
Suspects were described this way:
- Suspect No. 1: A black male, 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8, gray hoodie, dark Adidis pants and gray shoes.
- Suspect No. 2: A black male, taller than suspect No. 1, with a dark gray hoodie and white shirt underneath, dark pants and red shoes.
- Suspect No. 3: Tallest of the three and heavy set with a black hoodie, dark pants with gray shorts underneath, gray gloves, red and black shoes.
Express Mart is offering an additional $10,000 Crime Stoppers reward for this and any other Express Mart robbery.
